On Saturday, June 24, 2006, there was a huge Hummer Playday at ORV Park east of Olympia, Washington sponsored by Doug's Lynnwood Hummer, McCann Hummer of Fife, Hummer of Bellevue a Lithia store, and General Motors represented by Harvey Chang. There were over 100 Hummers in attendance including 96 registrants plus support staff and Hummers from the sponsoring dealerships. A complimentary luncheon of outstanding barbeque ribs and chicken was served with all the trimmings. Of the three courses the Obstacle course was the most revealing in terms of the unique suspension system articulation of the Hummer. Have a look.

The incredible suspension articulation of the Hummer is demonstrated here.

Country Club Carts owner Dave Dahl heads for the Hummer Playday with "Big Guy" and "Little Guy".

A herd of Hummers about to approach the obstacle course.

The low level of the front wheel demonstrates this steep and challenging dip to the left. Notice the dramatic articulation of the left and right rear suspension as the Hummer makes the challenge look easy.

Country Club Carts owner Dave Dahl hands the keys to wife Paula and says, "Go do it." Though a little nervous going in she completes the tour with a big smile and a "Whahoo!!"

While observing the H3 Estate Vehicle, Hummer owners are amazed at the quality and detail of design features that replicate the real Hummer; right down to the wheels.
